For the true escapist, here is a Caribbean beachfront cottage, perfectly situated on an 8-mile stretch of powdery white sand beach, caressed by turquoise seas.

Whitby Beach, in North Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands, is a secluded and unspoilt island corner still virtually untouched by resorts, hotels, or crowds. It is simply barefooted Caribbean style .. as it was meant to be!

A 10-minute flight from the main airport on Providenciales lands you in North Caicos, where a short taxi ride or your car rental takes you to the Cottage. Alternately, an Island Ferry runs several times a day, and gives you a dazzling introduction to the chain of smaller islands afloat on the turquiose waters between Provo and North Caicos.

The 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom beachfront house has approx 2500 sq.ft of living area with 300 ft. of glorious beachfront, mature coconut trees and your own Tiki hut with table and seating at oceanside.

There are only a few scattered single-family homes in the area, and during in the busiest time of the day, the only footprints you'll see on the beach will probably be your own.

The house has just recently been renovated to provide modern comforts, such as ensuite bathrooms, fire safes in each bedroom, ceiling fans, a fully equipped modern kitchen, washer and dryer, and is fully outfitted with bath and beach towels, linens, etc.

Bedrooms are 1 Queen sized bed, and 2 twins in the other bedrooms. Decks and verandas surround the house, and all rooms enjoy the exceptional ocean views and cooling tropical trade winds.

You will not be spoilt by television, air conditioning or internet but there are lots of books and games, and you're invited to add to our growing library.

A 10-minute bicycle ride takes you to a local grocery store, where there is an ample variety of food and fresh produce.

There are two restaurants close-by - one is a 10-minute stroll down the beach to your left and the other, a 15-minute walk down the beach to your right.
