About this villa

Located in the prestigious Ocean Point community of Providenciales, Villa Mariposa offers a spectacular panoramic view of the island’s south shore. This villa features a large patio and fresh water swimming pool. Below the house, the dock holds sun loungers and (2) kayaks and is the perfect spot to wave down passing fisherman for the catch of the day!

Inside Mariposa guests will find terra cotta floors and a 25 foot cathedral ceiling with fans. The villa has three bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom and air-conditioning unit.

The villa's kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and microwave, and refrigerator with an ice maker. Mariposa also offers a large flat panel TV, DVD player, and a portable sound system.

Taylor Bay Beach is just a short stroll from the villa's private driveway. This beautiful beach has soft, sugary-white sand. The ocean water here is calm making it an ideal spot for families.

Villa Policies

For reservations confirmed prior to 25 December 2022, air-conditioning is metered separately and charged at current market rate as per booking details. For reservations confirmed after 25 December 2022, air-conditioning is included up to USD$150 per week; after which excess air-conditioning usage is charged at current market rate plus 12% tax. Guests are welcome to see the meter and track their usage.
Air-conditioning is available in the bedrooms; air-conditioning is not available in the living room. Ceiling fans are located throughout the villa.
Parties, events, and ceremonies are not permitted at the property. Please note the property can only be used by the guests included on the reservation and the property cannot be used as a venue or gathering place for visitors, friends, or invitees of the reserved guests.
Guests with children in the reservation are required to sign a children liability and damage form.

A wonderful week at Villa Mariposa and a much needed change of scenery. Peter (9 months) loved his first trip and we all enjoyed the fabulous deck and terrace. The Taylor Bay Beach is relaxing for morning walks and evening sunsets. Go down to the dock at night for the glow worms around the rocks and the beautiful stars. "Caicos" the cat spent most of his time sleeping on the couch and has the most amazing eyes.

So hard to say goodbye to TCI and beautiful Villa Mariposa! Our week here was just the escape we needed. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises on the deck and long sunsets on the beach. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool as well as a boat charter with Captain Morgan from Caicos Catalyst -- highlighted by a swim with JoJo the dolphin! We much appreciated the reviews from prior guests and agree with high praise for La Brisas, Coco Van, Omar's and lunch on the deck at Seven Stars. "Caicos" the cat is still around and visited us our last night. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Such a memorable week!

This is a magical house -- perfectly positioned to enjoy the amazing sea and both sunrise and sunset. It was a privilege and a joy to be here. The house has everything needed to stay here for extended time and never leave. If you come here to relax and doubt whether you will miss something if you don't go exploring, nothing in our opinion is more beautiful than right here.

Absolutely amazing! Our 4th stay on Provo and certainly not our last. Mariposa was our home away from home for the past three weeks and we had a wonderful time. Taylor Bay is unbeatable for the calm, stunning water just a few steps away, and the pool view and dock at Mariposa were host to many of our hours. For meals out we enjoyed so many: Coco Bistro (of course), Solana (jerk chicken fried rice!), Lupo, Big Al's, Omars, and Turks Kebab. Absolute yumminess and quite a few pounds heavier :) We had a few adventures during our quiet stay. Would highly recommend Silly Creek Tours for island hopping/snorkeling/wakeboarding/sightseeing. Fabulous! Big Blue Collective (Kim) gives an absolutely wonderful tour of the mangroves. Eddie at Catch the Wave has been our bone fishing guide several times and is great! The bugs this trip were by far the most active. Bug spray is your friend!!!! The visiting kitty is darling and has the biggest eyes and is missing the top part of left ear! Very adept at catching lizards Nat Geo Style. We left several books, a football, paddle set, and some mind games to add to the villa collection. Many sweet sunrises and sunsets - The C Family
